Haematogen production shop

Project Prerequisites:

Investment project. Construction of a new production. Full automation of technological and manufacturing processes.

Goal of the Project:

Implementation of a comprehensive solution for the automation of haematogen production shop at JSC “Pharmstandard”.

Description of the Project:

Design, manufacture and supply of technological equipment for the shop was carried out by the European engineering company NORMIT s.r.o.
Production shop consisted of 7 sections:

  • Condensed milk reception and distribution section;

  • Molasses reception and distribution section;

  • Sugar-milk-molasses syrup preparation section;

  • Section for preparation and addition of 5% glycerol solution (two identical parallel sections);

  • Toffee mass preparation and unloading section (two identical parallel sections).

The equipment was delivered complete with an automated control system, consisting of 7 local control stations. Equipment used – Siemens. All control stations have been united into a single network to work together in an automatic mode.
Within the project, our company completed the design and commissioning of the control system of the project as follows:

  • Development of design documentation for control stations;

  • Development of lower level software (programmable controllers and operator panels), and upper level software (central archives server);

  • Performing electrical work on site;

  • Start-up and commissioning of sections and the shop in general in commercial operation and personnel training.

Results of the Project:

  • A multifunctional modern automated process control system for haematogen production shop was created;

  • The control system comprises 7 control stations and is incorporated into the general industrial network;

  • The software controls the entire process and production equipment in manual and automatic modes;

  • Automatic mode allows to perform the necessary technological operations without operator intervention;

  • All control stations were merged into a common industrial network to create the interaction of sections and collecting the information on the central server.
