Stop valves hydrostatic testing bench

Project Prerequisites:

Need for bench control system upgrade.

Goal of the Project:

Development and implementation of upgraded process control system for a bench.

Description of the Project:

Stop valves are tested to evaluate their properties, which in turn determine the level of quality. Such parameters as integrity, strength are evaluated during tests. This bench is used for hydraulic tests of the valves, and allows to detect the structural strength and its resistance to internal pressure of the working medium.

The bench was delivered with integrated control system disassembled. Specialists of “ASU-Techno” checked the installation of all major units of the equipment, diagnosed control system for malfunctions or defects, translated documents and operation manuals, trained the personnel and successfully launched the bench.

Results of the Project:

• A multifunctional modern automated control system for a bench was created;

• The performance of the bench was tested under all operating conditions;

• The software controls the bench in manual and automatic modes;

• Automatic mode allows to perform the necessary technological operations without operator intervention;

• All necessary archives of accidents, events and actions of the personnel are logged in the controller equipment.
